The wife of the Nigeria’s president, Mrs. Remi Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to commission the new Faculty of Law at Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, Kano named after her.
The news of the visit was disclosed by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, spokesperson to the Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
“Tomorrow, Monday 12th Feb. 2024, His Excellency Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf will in sha Allah receive the wife of the President Her Excellency (Dr.) Barr. Mrs. Remi Bola Ahmed Tinubu who will be in Kano to commission a new Faculty of Law (Which is named after her) at Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAUN), Hotoro, Kano.
She will pay a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Kano State His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf at the Government to discuss pertinent issues of utmost importance related to the state and Nigeria in general.
While wishing her Excellency a fruitful state visit to Kano for the first time as the First Lady, we pray that Almighty Allah bring her safer, healthier and happier.”
