Police nab 5 suspects connected to Sen. Kabiru Gaya’s son murder

The Police in Abuja, have confirmed the arrest of five suspects over the murder of Sadiq Gaya, the son of Senator representing Kano south senatorial zone, Arch. Kabiru Gaya.

Sadiq a legal practitioner and staff of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) was killed in a masterminded plot by his friend in Abuja on Tuesday, FCT Police Command revealed.

The lawyer’s murder, it was learned, was over N3.5 million.

Kabiru Gaya was governor of Kano state in the 1990s, and has been at the Nigerian Senate since 2007.

Spokesperson of FCT police command, Josephine Adeh, had confirmed the incident.

She said five suspects are in police custody for investigation.

“Five suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder, and investigation is ongoing. The outcome of the investigation will be communicated subsequently,” Adeh said.
