The Nigerian election petition tribunal on Wednesday continued entertaining into the petition brought before it by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and it’s Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
The petitioners are contesting the elections of Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in the February 23 presidential elections on ground of election irregularities.
The petition also protested the inclusion of the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, as member and head of presidential elections tribunal due to her close relationship with a top members of the All Progressive Congress.
Bulkachuwa’s husband, Adamu Bukachuwa, is the senator-elect for Bauchi North under the platform of the All Progressive Congress.
