June 12 protest: Police Warns miscreants to steer clear off ports environment

The Commissioner of Police Ports Authority Police (Western) Command, CP Olanrewaju Olawale Ishola psc+ mnips has assured that the command has mapped out strategies to ensure the close protection of critical national Infrastructure at the Apapa Port, Tincan Island Port, Lekki Deep-Sea Port and other lighter terminals which are critical facilities to the nation’s economy.

This is contained in a press release issued by the command in Lagos on Tuesday

The Command also assures free flow of traffic in and out of all port complexes to avoid all forms of vehicular clustering in and around the ports corridors as no form of road blockage, harassment, or intimidation of law-abiding Nigerians will be tolerated.

CP Olanrewaju therefore encourages all doing legitimate business at the ports to remain law-abiding and go about their lawful businesses as the command would not hesitate to bring to book any person or group of persons that tries to infringe on the fundamental human rights of other Nigerians.
