
As Nigeria observes 2025 edition of the democracy day on Thursday, June 12, 2025, the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed has admonished Nigerians to be conscious of their safety by showing moderation and care for others while using the roads.
The Corps Marshal gave the admonition in his statement on the public holiday which he said, was another period with increased human and vehicular road traffic, noting that if not properly coordinated, the chaos could lead to avoidable road mishaps.
While congratulating Nigerians on the occasion of 26 years of unbroken democratic experience in the country, which the June 12 democracy day holiday represents, Shehu Mohammed urged the people to embrace safety at all times while assuring of commitment to creating safer road environment by the FRSC during and after the public holiday.
