A 10-year-old boy, in Buji Local Government Area of Jigawa State has drown in a pond on Saturday.
The incident was confirmed on Sunday in the state capital, Dutse by the spokesman of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa State, CSC Adamu Shehu.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reported that the boy went swimming in a pond in Lelen Kudu village alongside his friends when he drowned.
“His body was found two hours after he drowned and was pronounced dead by a doctor,’’ Shehu said.
