Aside it efforts to address environmental challenges through; sensitizations, awareness, campaigns and in general activism, the NEMA Emergency Management vanguards of the national youth service corps of Borno state has helped it mother organization the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in the distribution of relieve materials in a host Community around Abaganaram, over 3700 bags of grains and other food items including several cattons of Maggi, salt, Tin tomato and Gallons of groundnut oil were distributed to thousands of households that are suffering because of the rampage of Boko Haram within the state.
At the end of the exercise there was a great smile in the faces of the beneficiaries as many corps members participated in the distribution and made the work easier and more effective than it used to be before where within fews hours the distribution was done.
The Nema officials too eulogized the CDS group members over the humanitarian services they render to communities of Borno especially with regards to efforts to address the issues of flooding that chaims the lives of many people and render many vulnerables and plegde to give the all necessary supports for the betterment of lives of mankind.
