Gombe Gov-elect calls for prayers against insecurity

Gombe state Governor-elect,  Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has called for special prayers against the current insecurity and other challenges facing the country.

The Governor-elect made the call while making remarks during a Ramadan Tafsir session at the Bubayaro Central Mosque, Emir’s palace, Gombe.

Alhaji  Yahaya who underscored the importance and efficacy of prayers, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, enjoined the people to include his incoming administration in prayers for Allah’s guidance and Gombe state for prosperity.

He reiterated his earlier call on the Muslim faithful to use the unique opportunity provided by Almighty Allah through Ramadan to offer special supplications and constant recitation of the holy Quran for Allah’s forgiveness, continued blessings and interventions in their affairs.

Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya had earlier on Tuesday, 7th May, 2019 participated at another Tafsir at the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe where he used the occasion to appreciate religious leaders for consistently praying and preaching for unity and peace in the state and the country.
