EWEI Reached More than 900 Thousand Beneficiaries as it celebrates 16 Year Anniversary

An NGO, Empowering Women for Excellence Initiative (EWEI) a Non-Governmental Organisation has disclosed that it has reached 926, 657 beneficiaries as at the beginning of 2023 in its various projects that span accross the development and empowerment of women and girl child.

The organization founded in April 2008 and officially registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria on 6 June 2008, according to its Senior Program Officer, Communications, Uche Brown Egbe partners with a variety of state and non-state actors in Kaduna State Government, nationally and internationally.

In a Press Statement signed by Safiyya Ibn Garba, Programme Director of the organization, EWEI has thanked its partners from the civil society, government agencies and department, and the beneficiaries for their vatious contribution at the level of the growth of the organization.

WE ARE SIXTEEN AND SENSATIONAL SIXTEEN YEARS OF SUSTAINABLE CHANGE AND IMPACT

Today, Empowering Women for Excellence Initiative (EWEI) proudly celebrates her 16th anniversary. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support, dedication, and partnership throughout this remarkable journey of empowerment.

Sixteen is a significant milestone, symbolising growth, learning, maturity and new possibilities. Similarly, EWEI stands as a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change in the lives of countless girls and women. Through our various initiatives, EWEI has reached a total of 926,657 beneficiaries as at the beginning of 2023.

Your collective efforts and belief in our mission have propelled EWEI to new heights, enabling us to continue to provide multi-sectoral interventions and empower women through capacity building, information dissemination, advocacy, and community service projects.

We deeply appreciate our fellow Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and their passion for social justice and tireless advocacy. Your support and collaboration have been instrumental in amplifying our voice and driving meaningful change.

To the Government, Ministries, Agencies, and Departments, your recognition of the importance of women’s empowerment and your continued support have been invaluable. Your partnership has allowed us to navigate complex challenges, foster important policy dialogues, and implement sustainable initiatives that benefit girls and women in our society. With heartfelt appreciation.

To our esteemed partners, your belief in our vision and your financial and technical support have been vital in driving our programs forward. Together, we have implemented innovative projects, expanded our reach, and made a tangible difference in the lives of women and girls.

Lastly, we extend our deepest appreciation to the beneficiaries of EWEI programmes. Your resilience inspires us daily. You are the true embodiment of empowerment, and your stories of triumph fuel our commitment to continue serving and advocating for your rights.

As we reflect on our remarkable milestones, we acknowledge that much work still needs to be done. However, with your continued support and partnership, we are confident we will achieve even greater strides. Together, let us forge ahead, embracing the power of enlightenment and working towards a future where every woman and girl can thrive, excel, and contribute to society.
