Cross river state deputy governor receives Special Adviser on community relations

Cross River State Deputy Governor, Rt Hon. Peter Odey, welcomed the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Relations, Hon. Chief Ada Charles Egwu, in an audience at the Government House on Monday, 20th May, 2024.

The meeting served as a platform for the Special Adviser to update the deputy governor on the recent activities and achievements of the Department of Community Relations. One key highlight was the inaugural meeting of Community Relations Officers, which was held at the department’s temporary office in Calabar. During this meeting, various important issues were discussed, and crucial resolutions were reached to enhance community relations across the state.

The discussions between the Deputy Governor and the Special Adviser underscored the importance of community relations in fostering development and maintaining peace and harmony within Cross River State.
