The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has commended the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for its outstanding leadership and progress in the anti-corruption fight!
In a courtesy visit to the EFCC headquarters in Abuja on Thursday, August 15, 2024, FCCPC Vice Chairman/CEO, Olatunji Bello, praised EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede for his leadership qualities and achievements.
“We want to commend you for doing great work for the country through the EFCC. Nigerians appreciate your efforts and are behind you,” Bello said.
Bello emphasized the need for collaboration between the two agencies to enhance consumer protection and investigation efforts. “We need more investigation and collaborative efforts with the EFCC. There are many areas where we need your support to advance our cause,” he added.
Olukoyede expressed gratitude for the visit and stressed the importance of cooperation between regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies. He noted that shared intelligence is crucial to combating exploitation and sabotage of government initiatives.
