NLC Strike: Kano Gov. Postpones Event for Declaration of State of Emergency in Education

The Kano State Government has decided to postpone its significant event concerning the declaration of a state of emergency in the education sector scheduled to hold on Tuesday 4th June, 2024.

According to Sanusi Dawakin Tofa spokesperson of the government, the postponement was considered essential in light of the industrial action disrupting major activities nationwide led by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).

The state extends its apologies for any inconvenience caused to the invited guests due to the cancellation.

Details regarding the rescheduling of the event will be communicated in the near future.
