The speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Sulaiman had in an Iftar hosted by the state governor Bala Muhammad, renounced his membership of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Sulaiman however declared his allegiance to People’s Democratic Party, PDP, saying his decision was in recognition of the exemplary leadership stylenof Bala Muhammad.
Governor Muhammad while responding to the development said it is an honour done to him by the speaker. He also admonished the PDP members against bitter politics ahead of the forthcoming primary elections.
