Jigawa state government is to establish a fertilizer blending plant as part of efforts to boost agriculture in the state.
The Managing Director of Jigawa Agricultural Supply Company (JASCO) Alhaji Rabi`u Khalid Maigatari made this known when he visited Radio Jigawa in Dutse.
He said when established the company would complement the federal and state governments’ commitment to food security and provision of employment opportunities to our teeming youth.
The Managing Director explained that Jigawa state government is fully committed to providing modern agricultural input to farmers at a subsidized rate to boost agriculture.
Alhaji Rabi`u Khalid Maigatari added that Jigawa Agricultural Supply Company has in stock adequate improved seeds, insecticides, tractors, rice harvesting, and processing machines water pump machines among others at affordable price.
