A former central bank governor, Professor Charles Soludo has reacted to the recent periodically imposed sit-at-home by IPOB agitators.

Soludo who is governortorial candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA in the upcoming Anambra guber election said N19.6billion is lost by the state any day a sit-at-home protest is observed.

The Professor of Economics said this during a meeting with elders and stakeholders in the state on Saturday.

“Anambra state economy loses an estimated sum of N19.6bn every time the sit-at-home directive is enforced in the state.

“I call on the people of the state to be watchful. I praise the outstanding achievements of Governor Willie Obiano who has delivered sustainable legacy projects to Ndi Anambra, including the Anambra International airport; the International convention centre, Awka and the Awka stadium.

“The governor has done well despite overseeing two recessions and the state suffering dwindling federal allocations.”
