Seven officers of the Nigeria Navy were nabbed by suspected gunmen on their way to Nigerian Navy College of Engineering Sapele.
Confirming the incidence, SP Kotongs Bello, the Edo State Police Public Relations Officer said; five of the officers were already rescued by the command and is still working to ensure the return of the other officers.
Nigeria have been bedevil by criminal elements kidnapping, attacking and killing citizens despite effort by the Nigeria security forces including military and the police.
