Authorities in Zamfara, north west Nigeria have disclosed plan for the conduct of election into the Local Government offices.
Through the Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission, it was disclosed that the commssion is to conduct the Local Government Councils polls on 16th November 2024.
In a statement, the Commission has asked employees wishing to contest in the upcoming elections to resign their appointments at least thirty days to the election.
Executive Chairman of the Commission Bala Aliyu Gusau announced this while briefing newsmen on the notice of the election.
He said sale of forms commences on 25th October and ends on 1st November 2024.
