The father of Hon. Nasiru Muazu Magarya speaker Zamfara State house of assembly has been confirmed dead inside bandits’ enclave.
Alhaji Muazu Abubakar was kidnapped by bandits eight weeks ago alongside his wife, a baby and three others, Blueprint reports.
Elder brother to the deceased, Malam Dahiru Saraki Magarya confirmed the development saying he died of heart failure.
Malam Magarya was among the kidnapped who were later conditionally rescued by police. He said Kachalla, one of the bandit kingpins informed him a day to their released that his brother has died.
“Although, we were separated when they kidnapped us, they took my brother to other camp but it was Kachalla, one of the commander of the Bandits who told me about the death of my brother as a result of heart attack few hours to our rescue,” he said.
