In Rimi village of Kano’s Sumaila Local Government reports have it that angry youths have killed three armed men suspected to be robbers.
DSP Haruna Abdullahi Kiyawa, PRO of Kano State Police Command confirmed the incidence saying distress call the command received informed that mob have set two armed robbers ablaze.
Arriving the scene, Kiyawa disclosed “we have recovered from the incidenct scene knives and other weapons allegedly belonging to the killed men”
DSP Kiyawa call on citizens to be law abiding by not taking law into their hands.
The remains according to Kiyawa were evacuated into hospital as one of the men excaped alive.
