Tinubu Extends Tenure of Immigration Boss

President bola ahmed tinubu has extended the tenure of mrs. kemi nanna nandap as the comptroller-general of the nigeria immigration service (nis) until december 31, 2026.

Mrs. Nandap, who began her career in the nis on october 9, 1989, was appointed comptroller-general by president tinubu on march 1, 2024, with an initial term set to expire on august 31, 2025.

During her leadership, the nis has seen significant advancements in border management, immigration process modernization, and national security measures.

President tinubu praised mrs. nandap’s exemplary leadership, urging her to continue prioritizing the service’s strategic objectives, which align with his administration’s renewed hope agenda.

Tubu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting the nis in protecting nigeria’s territorial integrity and promoting safe migration.
