Chairman House Committee on Security and Intelligence, Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada representing Kano Municipal Federal constituency has discredited rumour of his defection alongside G-7 members to New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) from the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
The Federal Law maker said he is confident winning the primary in the APC.
‘’I have bought the governorship nomination form and expression of interest with the money donated to the cause of my ambition by many groups , so I have no reasons to leave APC. ‘’Sha’aban expressed.
‘’ My guber ambition is receiving accolades from all and sundry and even intimidating to other aspirants, so Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje can anoints whoever he likes , we would meet at the party primaries and I am sure I would defeat them.’
” I am the most popular governorship aspirant in Kano, you can conduct your independent survey and you will discover that.”
‘’Honestly I sincerely appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari for the assent of the ‘’not too young to run’’ bill which inspired me to come out and contest for governorship race in the state with the highest population in the country.’’
‘’ Out of the 36 States of the Federation , I am the only young man of my age, less than 40 years contesting in the country,” the Chairman House Committee on National Security and Intelligence added.
