the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume has approved the promotion of 18 senior officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps to the rank of Assistant Corps Marshal.
This is said to be another critical move towards enhancing the management capacity of the Corps aside
bolstering the Corps’ leadership and operational effectiveness in promoting road safety and reducing crashes on Nigerian roads.
Out of the 18 promoted officers, 3 are to proceed on retirement with effect from 19 May, 2025.
While congratulating them, the Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Shehu Mohammed, emphasised that With the promotion of these officers, the Corps is better equipped to achieve its goals and make Nigerian roads safer for all users.
