President Muhammadu Buhari in his 61 year Independence anniversary message to the nation has talked about the recent development of arrest and deportation of Nnamdi Kanu of IPOB and that of Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho.
The president who reechoed Nigeria’s unity is not negotiable has called on Nigerian to “…continue on to work on dialogue based solutions to address legitimate grievances.”
He said that the government remain ready to take actions against secessionist argitators and their sponsors.
Describing the sponsor, Mr. Buhari has said descrete investigation is ongoing to unravel the funanciers of these criminals.
“The recent arrest of Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Adeyemo, and the ongoing investigations being conducted have revealed certain high-profile financiers behind the these individuals. We are vigorously pursuing these financiers including one identified as serving member of the national assembly,”
