Senate has resolved to hold a special session on Wednesday 23rd July 2025 in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Senate at plenary Tuesday paid tribute to the late Awujale of Ijebuland Oba Sikiru Adetona who joined his ancestors, as it prayed for the repose of his soul.
The lawmakers also paid tribute to the late Kano philanthropist Alhaji Alhassan Dantata.
A minute silence was observed in honour of the departed souls.
