Sallah: Kano federal lawmaker felicitates with Muslims, sues for peace, progress

The member representing Ajingi,Gaya and Albasu federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya has felicitated with Muslims in Nigeria for witnessing yet another Eid-el-fitr season.

In a statement Wednesday by his media aide,  and sent to SKY DAILY, the lawmaker also charged Muslims in the country to direct their actions towards attaining peace and progress in the country.

According to him, beyond spiritual uplifting, Ramadan fasting also teaches lessons in tolerance and peaceful co-existence, pointing out that the lessons would be useful if everyone play his role in strengthening peace and harmony in the country.

Gaya said there is need for Muslims to deeply reflect on the lessons taught by the blessed month by promoting values that would uplift them spiritually and also improve the condition of humanity in general.

He also enjoined Nigerians to use this occasion of Eid celebrations to pray for peace and progress of the state and nation at large.

The legislator also facilitated with Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, his constituents and the entire people of Kano State for peaceful sallah celebration devoid of any security breach.
