The Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a sensational hat trick as Portugal defeated Switzerland 3-1 to reach the final of the inaugural UEFA’s Nations League on Wednesday.
Ronaldo converted a first-half free kick and went ahead to scored two late goals to give the hosts a spot in the final of UEFA’s newest competition scheduled to take place on Sunday.
Ronaldo is set to lead Portugal to another international glory with this year’s maiden Nations League cup.
Ronaldo’s Portugal will play either the Netherlands or England in Sunday’s final, England will face the Netherlands in the other semifinal later on Thursday.
