He is Dauda Kahutu Rara by name, an epithet of Katsina and Kano state based Hausa political singer. He is unarguably the most popular political singer among his peers for the simple as well as obvious reason that he is at his prime since time of his business till date. His rhyme decorated Stanzas are top class, and that makes his content more succulent and attractive to the ears of his listeners.
Rarara political polemical consistency against his erstwhile pay masters is something i find very admiring. For the fact that its well known to all that the child you train to rain an insult, cast aspersion or denigrate someone on a political or social basis would surely pay his master with similar token in near future.
The game of namecalling and ill mannered treatment against the personality of Notable politicians by Dauda Kahutu Rara, in Kano, particularly took the path right under the watch of the Pioneer of Red Capist movement Sen. Rabiu Musa kwankwaso down to his political all time hoe Mallam Shekrau and then recently to their latest political crusader – the machevelli of our time Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
All the gutter assignments have being taking committed by the single political Singer Rara, that’s the point they gullibly made. Their level of complacency of making him a close ally when they are in power yet paving him ways to know their hard secrets deeper. And sadly, none of them escape the bully for even as of recent the Man in Question Rara have ditched the head of Ganduje on that particular basis.
What an interesting saga. As they said, history is mirror to the wise people that tells them about the past, present and seek to guide them on how they should make a better adjustment for their future. So that to avoid the similar trajectory of the past as well. But very unfortunately for his clients who dearly romances him at the eve of of destroying the images of those whom they deem fit just to set a political scores, they failed to fathom this obvious fact.
His insulting phrases mostly coast across the boarder of decency at it holistic form. As he mastered the art of the gutter language and tones in his, his singing dexterity appeared to be topnotch in that regard. Thus he has the most persuasive style of against his audience that makes him to stand different among his peers who are only acknowledge by their ardent lovers.
Huh ! Rara is phenomenal and authority in his realm. Some of his dirty Stanzas can be quoted in verbatim while others may not be easier to be made that way. As for the Kwankwaso he on several occasions refers to him as ” Tsula ” , Shekarau as ” Duna. ” and lately described Ganduje as ” Kazami ” for a mere conflict of interest between him and his master. This is just a pinch of an ice aside other derogatory lines he used to shower upon their tattered personality.
Imagine all these shameful events are taking place in their faces but yet mind not be wary of their moves in his presence. However, you can’t out shit and expect to receive gold in return for its the law of Karma to receive as you give.
Until politicians discards their worthless politically motivated attitude of hiring and establishing a toxic set of people like Rara in their dealing with political rivals, the gutter scenarios will keep emerging thereby making anyone to be an object of mock and ridicule.
Not praying for more deterioration of the system, but If things keep taking this awful shape in our society, i will give up in witnessing a saner political community with people of upright political skills.
Wish things will change.
