A frontline aspirant for the governorship seat in Gombe State, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, has called on Muslim Ummah in the state to leverage on the remaining days of the Ramadan to renew hopes for a better Gombe State.

According to Gwamna as relayed by Ibrahim Sani Shawai, Director of Publicity, Dr. Gwamna Campaign Organization, the state needed all the prayers to ensure that citizens enjoy better days from 2023.

He stated that Gombe State has all the potentials to be greater than where it is and with prayers and strong belief of the people in Allah’s Mercies and Kindness, better days will come.

“In my quest to give good leadership to the people of Gombe in 2023 by the will of Allah, I appeal to residents to use the remaining golden days to pray for my political ambition” Gwamna added.

According to Dr. Gwamna “I believe that the will of the people as well as their prayers is key for any leader who wants to serve the people; this is why I crave more prayers from Gombe people especially in this Holy Month”

Since the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun distributing Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), I urge citizens of Gombe State to kindly collect their PVCs and avoid the rush hours that always greet the closure of voter registration.

“In a democracy, your voter card is your possession which gives you the right to make democratic choices in the interest of good goverance; so go and collect your PVCs,” he said.
