The Assistant Inspector of Police Zone one Kano has instituted an investigation to ascertain the veracity of the trending picture of an inspector of police seen casting vote alongside Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas.
The inspector identified as Bashir Mohammed according to the police was attached to kano state government house serving as security aide of Abdullahi Abbas.
“In view of the unprofessional conduct of the inspector, the AIG has referred the matter to the zonal x-squad for investigation,” a statement by DSP Abubakar Zayyanu Ambursa, the zone’s spokesperson said.
