The proscribed Indigineous People of Biafra allegedly unleashed its terror action on an Adamawa woman identified as Harira Jibril in Anambra state.
In a vedio sighted by SKYDAILY the women was murdered alongside four kids, reports said she mothered.
People accross the divide have been outraged by the gruesome murder calling out authorities for what they called “hypocricy and preferential treatment of cases” between atrocities on unravelled on Northerners and those on Southerners.
Many have taken to the social media to register their sympathy and concerns. A campaign has since commenced seeking justice for the deceased.
The animosity between southener and northers have seem to be deepen by the recent killing, with people cautioning against living or travelling the South East.
“It is becoming unbearable for a Northerner to stay in the South, particularly Southeast – if this thing continue to escalate i pity those from Southeast who reside here in the North,” a user posted.
The Anambra State Governor Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo who recently met the leader of the IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu in detention facility to make peace for the state, the Presidency and the Sultanate of Sokoto are yet to react to the situation.
