NYSC: NEMA CDS group gives Adamawa community drinking water

National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Community Development Service (CDS) group made reticulation of pipes and installation of taps water to Bwarinji community, Yola North, Adamawa state.

The CDS group president, Mr Ahmed Musa Bulama stated that the project was meant to ease Bwarinji community burdens of water scarcity, which they were experiencing before.

He said that the water project is a sign of goodwill by the corps members for Bwarinji community, after enjoying a peaceful serving year.

He added that the water project will not be possible without the sponsorship of the wellmeaning citizens and management of the NYSC for granting them permission to embarked on such project.

NYSC Adamawa state coordinator, Mallam Abubakar Mohammed applauded the corps members for curbing the plight of Bwarinji community.

Mallam Abubakar suggested that corps members should be engage actively in any community development project during and after their service year.

Mallam Abubakar extends his appreciation to donors who made the project comoletion to be a success, and urgea the community to keep on supporting corps members to extend such projects to other communities.
