The Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has joined the global business community in rejoicing with Africa’s foremost industrialist and Chairman of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on the occasion of his 68th birthday anniversary.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya described Alhaji Dangote as a global icon, trailblazing entrepreneur, and an uncommon philanthropist whose contributions have not only impacted Nigeria’s economy, but also earned the continent global recognition.
He said, “Alhaji Aliko Dangote is a shining example of what visionary leadership, grit, and unyielding commitment to nation-building can achieve. His unmatched investment in critical sectors such as cement, sugar, salt, agriculture, and now oil refining, has redefined Nigeria’s industrial narrative and created thousands of direct and indirect jobs for our teeming population.”
Governor Inuwa Yahaya noted that Dangote’s audacious drive to industrialize Africa, especially through the Dangote Refinery, has placed Nigeria on the path of energy security and economic self-reliance, stressing that such patriotic investment is worthy of celebration and emulation.
“Alhaji Aliko is not only a business mogul of global repute, but a compassionate philanthropist whose interventions through the Dangote Foundation have impacted millions across health, education, and disaster relief efforts,” the Governor remarked.
The Chairman of the Northern Governors’ Forum also acknowledged Dangote’s steadfast commitment to the development of Northern Nigeria through industrial projects and humanitarian interventions that have uplifted communities and spurred regional growth.
He prayed for continued good health, strength, and divine wisdom for the celebrant.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Gombe State as well as my colleagues in the Northern Governors’ Forum, I heartily congratulate Alhaji Aliko Dangote on this milestone. May the Almighty Allah continue to bless him and multiply his efforts in nation-building,” the statement concluded.
