The Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration, and Prisons Services Board (CDFIPB) has announced the promotion of 3,413 Officers of the Nigeria Immigration Services.
Those affected include 53 Comptrollers, 114 Deputy Comptrollers and 146 Assistant Comptrollers among others.
The NIS Board in a statement Saturday, described the promoted Officers as being very eligible for the promotion having passed the prescribed promotional examinations with flying colors.
During the decoration ceremony of the newly promoted Comptrollers at the Service Headquarters Abuja, the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Services, Muhammad Babandede MFR said the Officers had demonstrated high capacity, competence&good conducts in the assigned duties/tasks as attested to by their superiors.
He enjoins them to reciprocate this massive gesture of government through enhanced dedication to service delivery and renewed commitment to nation building.
