Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases, exceeded 3,000 as 195 new infections were announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 3,145.
The agency late Wednesday said 195 new cases were reported in 13 states. All the reporting states already have at least a case of the virus.
Wednesday marks one hundred days since the index case of coronavirus was reported in Nigeria. The 195 new cases are reported from 13 states include 82 in Lagos, 30 in Kano, 19 in Zamfara, 18 in Sokoto, 10 in Borno, 9 in Federal Capital Territory, 8 in Oyo, 5 in Kebbi, 5 in Gombe, 4 in Ogun, 3 in Katsina, 1 in Kaduna and 1 in Adamawa.
