Nigeria Records 381 New COVID-19 Cases on Thursday

Nigeria, on Thursday, recorded its highest daily figure since its first COVID-19 case as 381 new cases were reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

With the latest update, the total tally of infected people in the country rose to 3,526 from 3,145 reported on Wednesday evening.

The 381 new cases are reported from 18 states with 183 in Lagos, 55 in Kano, 44 in Jigawa, 19 in Zamfara, 19 in Bauchi, 11 in Katsina, 9 in Borno, 8 in Kwara, 7 in Kaduna, 6 in Gombe, 5 in Ogun, 4 in Sokoto, 3 in Oyo, 3 in Rivers, 2 in Niger, 1 in Akwa Ibom, 1 in Enugu and 1 in Plateau. There was an increase in the number of infections reported for Thursday compared to 195 reported on Wednesday.
