Today, October 17, 2022, the Economic and Financial Commission handed over a property situated on Plot 965 Cadastral Zone CO2, Life Camp, Abuja, to the National Broadcasting Commission.
This is pursuant to the lease agreement entered into between the Commission and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The property is to host the Nigeria Broadcast Institute proposed to offer trainings for Broadcast industry players and all other critical Stakeholders in the broadcast value chain.
In a short handing-over ceremony, Hajia Hauwa Ibrahim Garba, Head, Asset Section 1, accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Danjuma, 2ic Asset Section 1, handed over the property with 7 Flats of 3-Bedroom, each, and a penthouse to officials of the Commission.
Hajia Hauwa implored the Commission to deploy the property to the purpose it is meant for and wished the Commission success in its proposed Broadcast Institute.
Receiving the keys and documents, on behalf of the National Broadcasting Commission, Mr. Boniface Ekwealor, the Director, Finance, thanked the Executive Chairman, Management and Staff of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for granting the Commission’s request to take over the property.
He noted that the Director General of the Commission, Mal. Balarabe Shehu Ilelah, has been looking forward to this day. He promised that the Commission will put the property to the purposed intended.
Mr. Ekwealor was accompanied by Mr. Igomu Onoja, Secretary to the Commission, Engr. Victoria Eke, Director, Engineering and Technology, Mr. Matthews Achara, Director, Human Resources and Administration, and some Management Staff of the Commission.
