International Women’s Day (IWD) 2024 carries a powerful message with its theme, “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress.” This call to action resonates globally, emphasizing the pivotal role women play in advancing societal progress. Within this theme, the spirit of INSPIRING INCLUSION takes center stage, urging societies and institutions to invest in the diverse talents of women.

At the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), this commitment to inclusion shines, with approximately 70% of directors being women, and the prestigious title of Secretary to the Commission held by the second woman, Mrs. Francisca Aiyetan, since its inception. The first being Ms Alheri Saidu.
