The National Summit on Justice has opened in Abuja with the theme “Repositioning the Justice System: Constitutional, Statutory, and Operational Reforms for Access and Efficiency”.
The summit which is organised by the Office of the Attorney-General of Federation and Federal Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi along with the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA and the National Judicial Council, NJC is expected to look into the challenges bedevilling the Justice sector and proffer ways to curb them.
His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who declared the summit opened was represented by Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima, where the chairman Senate Committee on the Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Sen. Mohammed Tahir Monguno fully participated in the program.
