Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board says it has received 614 Hajj seats from National Hajj Commission of Nigeria for 2022 Hajj exercise.
The director administration and finance of the board, Mustapha Umar disclosed this to newsmen in Dutse.
He said the board received a letter of the allocation from the commission while waiting for the commission to announce the Hajj fare.
Mustapha Umar said already 530 people have deposited their money for 2021 exercise which was cancelled and left their money with the board against 2022 exercise.
The director who is also the acting executive secretary of the board said the board had resolved to consider those who deposited their money before others.
He pointed out that the remaining Hajj seats will be allocated according to first to come first to serve basis.
