Bandit terrorists have reportedly abducted many travelers along Abuja-Kaduna expressway yesterday.
A source told newsmen that the incident occurred at Katari town around 4:30pm.
According to the source, many empty vehicles were sighted by either sides of the road, signifying that the occupants were either abducted or had fled into the bush.
Meanwhile, a road accident along Abuja-Kaduna expressway has claimed the lives of 20 passengers.
An eyewitness who said the accident involved a bus and a trailer led to the death of 17 people including two women and a child, while two others survived.
Sources also said the accident occurred around 5 am yesterday when the bus rammed into a cement trailer parked along the road.
The State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Hafiz Muhammad, confirmed the incident.
