The Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company, KEDCO has extended its greetings to Muslims on the commencement of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
The ramadan greeting was passed in an internal memo signed by Ibrahim Sani Shawai Head of Corporate Communications, obtained by SKYDAILY.
According to the Management, Ramadan Mubarak presents an opportunity to pray more for KEDCO and the country.
On his part, the MD/CEO Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna said Ramadan reflects the “shared qualities that we have; of compassion, of sharing, of supporting one another and these are what we need now more than ever.”
Dr. Gwamna said in the area of sacrificing more for the poor and showing greater commitment to the plights of the needy, staff should live up to expectations in that regard.
He prayed Allah to accept staff’s prayers for both KEDCO and Nigeria as well as the entire Muslims ummah during the Ramadan fast.
