The Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has restated its commitment to economic empowerment of Kano, Katsina and Jigawa States through improved power supply and quality service delivery.
According to the Management, the company’s mission is to be an efficient power distributor focused on customers satisfaction.
Accrding to Ibrahim Sani Shawai, DGM Corporate Communications, KEDCO, the vision of the company “is to enable re-industrialisation and economic empowerment through safe and reliable power distribution,”
Shawai added; “In all, KEDCO is committed to the industrial and economic empowerment of Kano, Katsina and Jigawa States through reforms in power sector distribution.
“This is why in recent time, there had been improved supply and we will continue on that path in line with our vision to propel economic growth that will impact on citizens in our franchise states.
“We have been following up on our mandate, hence the constant investments in power equipment and network improvement and expansion.
“In this regard, we are informing the general public about our mission and vision and we seek partnership to help us serve all KEDCO’s stakeholders.”
According to the management “Customers are supposed to be apt on payment of bills as and when due, reporting illegal activities as well as safeguarding our equipment”
