Kano’s Abdullahi Pakistan Becomes New NAHCON Boss

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman as the Executive Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

The announcement was made through a statement by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

Professor Usman holds academic qualifications from the University of Madinah and Peshawar University in Pakistan.

Prior to this appointment, he served as the Chairman of the Kano State Pilgrims Board, where he successfully managed the largest quota of state pilgrims in Nigeria.

He is also the current Chairman of Jama’atul Izalatul Bid’ah Wa’ikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) in Kano State.

His appointment is subject to confirmation by the Senate.
