The Chairman of Kano Pillars Football Club, Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar, popularly known as Ali Na Yara Mai Samba Kurna, has called on all players to fully support the club’s new Technical Adviser, Coach Usman Abdallah. This appeal aligns with the vision of the Kano State Government under the leadership of Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf and reflects the aspirations of the Kano State community.

The Media and Communication Directorate of the club confirmed that this event followed an agreement reached last Thursday, appointing Abdallah as the new Technical Adviser. He succeeds former coach Paul Offor, with the mandate to lead the four-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions into the forthcoming 2024/25 season.
Chairman Ali Muhammad Umar emphasized the high expectations placed on the management, players, and technical crew. He expressed confidence in the newly constituted board’s ability to elevate the club’s performance and urged all team members to work diligently towards achieving the set objectives for the upcoming season.
He also extended his gratitude to the Kano State Commissioner of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, for his unwavering support to the team.
The Chairman assured fans and stakeholders that “Sai Masu Gida” will deliver an exceptional performance this season.
In his remarks, Coach Usman Abdallah acknowledged the challenges ahead but remained optimistic. He assured that he would work closely with his technical team to ensure the squad is well-prepared for the new season.
