As at time of filling this report, three bodies have been recovered and a number of people are still buried under a buikding at Sabon gari, kano after an explosion in the early hours of Tuesday.
Earlier in the morning report have it that an explosion feared to have killed scores of people and injured several pupils of the Winners School Academy in Sabon Gari, Kano.
The Police Anti-Bomb Squad have mobilized to the scene while frantic efforts are ongoing to rescue those trapped under the rubble.
The Kano state police commission, CP Samaila Dikko appeal residents to be calm as the explosion is not bomb as widely reported but a gas cylinder explosion.
