A commissioner of Kano states’ ministry of water resources Sadiq Aminu Wali has resigned his position in a bit to join the 2023 gubernatorial race.
Mr. Wali said his action is to comply with the newly signed electoral act 2022 that granted political appointees to resigned in order to participate in an election.
Wali thanked governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for opting to work with him as commissioner and member of the state executive council.
