Mallam Nasiru Ahmad El-Rufa’i, Kaduna State Governor has endorsed Senator Uba Sani as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the state’s 2023 election.
Uba Sani is a Senator representing Kaduna Central currently.
Muhammad Sani Abdullahi alias Dattijo, a foremost contender in the run for succeeding El-Rufa’i has been by the decision, deserted of the ambition to become the next state’s governor by the endorsement.
Dattijo would however, pick the form for the Kaduna Central Senatorial District, according to insiders.
The source added “Uba Sani was chosen as a canditate by consensus, not by El- Rufa’i’s imposition,”
He mentioned that the decision was reached after a lengthy meeting with the aspirants.
