Jigawa Govt. to construct 285 mosques

Jigawa State Government has opened tender for the construction and renovation of 285 Friday and daily prayer mosques and construction of houses for district heads and grave yards wall fencing in the 30 constituencies of the state.

The Chairman, Tender Board Committee and Permanent Secretary, Directorate of Administration and Finance office of the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri disclosed this while flagging off the bid opening session.

He said the bid opening was for the first quarter of 2021, stating that 390 companies had so far submitted bid for the contracts.

He assured the bidders that the process of selecting the contractors would be transparent, fair and just.

In a brief remark, representative of Due Process and Project Monitoring Bureau, Architecture Saleh Abubakar, assured the bidders that the bureau would be fair and just in the selection process.

Responding on behalf of the bidders, the representative of Sabi’u Nabakwai and Sons Nigeria Limited, Malam Sabi’u, expressed satisfaction with the bid opening process.
