
Jigawa state Government is spending over 3.2 billion naira on recurrent expenditure monthly with the Federal allocation of 3.5 to 4.5 billion naira.
State Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar announced this yesterday during an interactive session with permanent secretaries and Directors at Sir Ahmadu Bello Conference Hall in Dutse.
Badaru Abubakar stated that 2.1 billion is been paid monthly as workers salary, 250 million naira for boarding secondary schools feeding and 70 million for boarding primary schools feeding.
Others are 75 million naira for primary health care services, 300 million naira for payment of scholarship, NECO and WEAC examinations, 100 million naira for water supply and 75 million naira as overhead cost.
The governor who appreciated the contributions of civil servants urged them to continue supporting the present administration efforts to meet the yearnings and aspirants of the common man.
