Jigawa state government is to recruit more nurses and midwives for its health facilities across the state.
The Head of Civil Service, Hussain Ali Kila, made this known while declaring open the second state scientific conference holding at Federal University Dutse.
He said students Nurses and Midwifery were included in the state payroll after passing some stages.
The Head of Civil Service represented by Director Management services, Ali Sa’ad Dutse, said government is always responding to labor requests to improve productivity and Industrial peace.
In his speech, the special assistant to the Governor on Labor Matters, Ibrahim Ahmed Kwaimawa, said government was aware of the commitment of nurses and midwives in health care delivery services of the state.
He said the state government had provided additional schools of nursing to improve health care services in the state.
